Technovation Engineering Ltd. was formed in Kelowna, B.C. in the summer of 1998 by Darren E. Wattie, P.Eng. who is the principal and senior engineer.

Education: B.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, University of British Columbia, Vancouver, 1991
Experience: involved in building services and construction related consulting engineering since 1992 as a designer, fire protection engineer and code consultant.
Certification: P.Eng. in B.C. as member of EGBC since 1995

Instead of running a large office we prefer to rely on our network of trusted and experienced associate professionals to delegate, as needed, code review work, design and field reviews. Our principal is well aware of professional engineering requirements for direct supervision and actively enforces and maintains these procedures when delegation of work is required
