Our principal can act as the Coordinating Registered Professional (CRP) for your project. The CRP is engaged by the owner to coordinate the designs and field reviews of the Registered Professionals of Record. We are familiar with aspects of fire protection, electrical, mechanical, structural and architectural disciplines which need to be coordinated. The CRP’s function is to coordinate these items between the professionals to ensure they produce coordinated designs. The CRP also reviews and initials all Letters of Assurance. The CRP also arranges and coordinates the coordinated life safety functional testing and demonstrations required by the Building Code.

We can also provide Independent Professional services for clients such as AHJ’s or owners of large complex buildings and institutions. These services are meant to be an independent 3 rd party professional review of the designs to ensure all fire and life safety aspects of the Building and Fire Codes are met. This can also be useful for smaller AHJ’s which may not have adequate expertise or staffing levels to properly perform plan check and code reviews for larger complex projects.
